Kelly and Jeff asked me to shoot some images for their save the dates. They are using Magnet Street to print their save the dates. I thought it was a cute idea and wanted to share it with all of you.

I photographed Kelly and Jeff last weekend right before their engagement party at the Green Gables County Club. Hope you guys had a great party. And can’t wait for the big day in April!
Textures

I have been playing around with adding textures to photos. And just recently been creating my own textures. Simply overlay a texture image over another image to create a very cool effect. They typically make the image have a grainy, vintage feel to it. I was shooting Jodi and David’s Rehearsal Dinner at Uptown Tavern and shot a close image of the bar top which was very weathered concrete. I like the idea of having a texture image that I captured at your wedding and using it on images from your wedding. I thought it was a cool concept and I definitely will do this in the future. Here are the three images. One is the bar top at uptown tavern, second is a shot of Jodi walking down the stairs after the ceremony, and the third one is the texture image overlaid on the image. Cool, huh?
Liz + Stephen / Engagement / Chautauqua Park/ Boulder

I photographed Liz and Stephen’s engagement photos over the weekend at Chautauqua Park in Boulder CO. It was such a beautiful day and we even saw a deer roaming around in the park. You will be seeing more of Liz and Stephen soon. They are getting married at the JW Marrriott In Cherry Creek. Can’t wait for the big day.

Congratulations, Jodi and Dave! What a great day! I met them at the The Brown Palace, where they were getting ready. And then off to the ceremony just across the street at The Trinity Methodist Church. Then they took double decker buses to the reception held at the Mile High Station. Stephanie and Louise from Splash Eventing Planning helped all day to make sure every thing went smooth. Thank you for all your help!

Meet Amber and Josh. They are getting married next week at Ten Mile Station in Breckenridge, Colorado. I shot their engagement photos downtown Denver last week.
