Calligrapher

I photographed Kelle McCarter’s wedding about 3 years ago.  And since then I have photographed her husband and her darling three golden retrievers every year. She is an incredible calligrapher and I am honor that she is going to addressing my wedding invitations. Check out her website: http://www.designsgirl.com/

I just received the samples of her calligraphy for my wedding. I really didn’t know that I would be able to choose from different styles.  How cool is that!!

Here are a few from her wedding held back in September of 2006.

My wedding update

As you can see, I have been very busy shooting weddings the last couple of months which has left me very little time to even think about my wedding.  But things are slowly coming together.

Last week,  we did a quick trip to Carmel, CA to visit with my fiancé’s parents. My parents met us there to finally meet the future in-laws.  The two day trip was filled with golfing and visiting over great meals.   I always like pointing out the great things I run into even if it has nothing to do with photography.  One of the best meals I have ever had was a lunch on the last day right before our flight.  We went up highway 1 to Big Sur to the Post Ranch Inn.   It was awesome! And if you can at least do lunch there, I would highly recommend it.  It over looked the ocean and we got to see whales and even a couple of California Condor Birds flying around.  Truly, one of the most beautiful places in the world.

The honeymoon is booked!  We are going to New Zealand!

We will be there for two weeks.  We just have booked a five day hike through Ultimate Hikes.  We chose the Milfrod Track. Here a few images from their website. I am so excited!

More to come tomorrow!

Amanda + Kenny / Wedding Photography / Cherokee Ranch Colorado

Every so often, I have a great intern that I have enough confidence into hiring out to shoot their own weddings. Last year, Tami interned with me and immediately showed that potential.  Tami Murphy and Kevin Von Qualen were hired by Amanda and Kenny to shoot their wedding last weekend.  This was Tami’s first wedding shooting under my name and she exceeded my expectations. I love love love the photographs! And of course, as always, Kevin you are awesome! Thank you!

Here are the few I picked out from the day.  Even though I wasn’t there, these photographs tell the whole story. Congratulations to Amanda and Kenny!  I am so happy for you too and wish you the very best.

Adelle + Kyle / Wedding Photography Denver CO / Brown Palace Hotel

I had the pleasure of photographing Adelle and Kyle’s wedding on July 11th in Downtown Denver.  The ceremony was held at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Denver CO.   And the reception followed across the street at the Brown Palace.   Their wedding was traditional, classic, and elegant.  They even had the old house band from the Brown Palace play at their reception.  Congratulations, Adelle and Kyle.  Here are a few of my favorite images. Trust me is was very hard to narrow it down!

Lena/ Commercial Head Shot / Denver CO

I photographed Lena last week for her corporate head shot.  She runs her own HR consulting business here in Denver CO.

Grant / 8 months / Baby Photography Denver CO

I photographed Grant as a new born. Now, he is 8 months old and is full of life!!!  We had a great photo shoot in Wash Park on Tuesday.  As you can see, Grant loves to laugh!
