While earning a bachelors degree in finance and statistics at the University of Denver, I discovered my passion for photography. I took a black and white photography class to fulfill the required electives for my business degree. And I haven’t stopped shooting since!
It has been seven wonderful years since I opened up my studio doors. I can’t believe how fast it has gone by! I feel blessed that I have been able to turn my passion into a career.
My focus has been weddings for the last 7 years. I have now started to turn my photography focus to portraits, commercial work, and personal work. I love shooting weddings, truly my favorite shoot. But too much of a good thing left me with no time to photograph personal work. So I am now only accepting 5-8 weddings a year with a limited number of portrait shoots and commercial shoots a week. This will allow me to poor my heart into every shoot that comes my way.
I have started a new venture in 2010. It will inspire and help guide the Colorado Bride. It is called COUTUREcolroado. It is a one of a kind wedding blog specially for Colorado. THE LIST is a great resource of the most talented, skilled and professional Colorado wedding vendors. .
